EE launch UK’s first 4G SIM-only deals, better late then never

Published on November 20th, 2012

If you are in the market for a SIM-only plan and visit EE’s website you may be surprised to see a range of SIM-only deals ready for 4G phones. EE originally planned to release their iteration of SIM-only earlier this month but due to network testing and stress tests they decided to delay for 2 weeks.

Starting at £21 and a 12 month commitment you get unlimited calls and texts with 500MB of 4G data, rising up to £36 (12 month contract) for 5GB of 4G data with unlimited calls and texts. EE’s 4G SIM-only is £15 cheaper than handset based contract but remember you don’t get a subsidised phone. EE are not currently offering the highest tier deal which offers 8GB of data on SIM-only

4G SIM-only is available to buy on a 12 month contract online from EE’s website and via EE’s telesales department. EE say that SIM-only will be available from their retail stores “soon”.
