The Kidigi Desktop dock comes in at a cheap price of £14.95 from http://www.mobilefun.co.uk, it is of high quality and strong build, the design is sleek without being too bulky and will fit nicely on any desk. The dock syncs data and charges the device whilst the dock is attached to the phone, it can also charge an external battery whilst the phone is charging, so this means if you have a second battery you can carry it round with you and have a back up battery just in case your mobile goes dead on you whilst your out and about. You’ll know when the dock is charging when the red light appears on the back of the dock and a nice blue led appears on the front.
Generally the dock is perfect and I would definitely recommend it for any Samsung Galaxy S2 User, I will be definitely using it in future app reviews as the phone is easily visible and you can easily change the angle of the phone. (more…)
The legendary app “Iris” which some say is Siri for Android, is becoming ever more like Android’s version of Siri. It is even more responsive since my last review, and can answer a whole range more of questions. With my tests I found it could easily display the weather forecast for the next day, in my location. I also found that when searching for a video the results were even more accurate and there was a wider range of results I could chose from.
Although the intelligence and response of this app is perfect, the developers could still possibly integrate more features such as the ability to call users and the ability to text people, but in order to do this they most probably would have to narrow the app down to only a handful of devices. I have only stated a few improvements that the app has had since the last update, I leave the rest for you to find and explore. This app is Smart, Clean. Intelligent and useful. Perfect for any Android user.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 hasn’t been released yet but the guys over at PhoneArena have been lucky enough to have a review unit, the lucky buggers. The review is based on a Samsung Galaxy S III unit with final hardware and final retail software. During PhoneArena’s testing they say they didn’t encounter any problems at all with its functionality.
Big news from the review which will please Android fanboys is that TouchWiz actually feels good, it doesn’t completely cover the great ICS UI, but there are a few changes to it to make the phone feel different.
Samsung have hit a goldmine with the Galaxy series and nailed it with the Galaxy S III so HTC better sell as many of those One Xs while it still can, because the master of the Android kingdom is back, and it seems to be angry.
On the review unit of the GS3 the software version was – Android 4.0.4, Baseband I9300XXLE6, Build IMM76D.I9300XXALE6

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is an amazing mobile phone. I received it and I love it.
As an Android phone it is very slick and does everything that you expect. From email, web browsing to playing games, it’s awesome.
As the Xperia Play has gingerbread (Android v2.3) to run its engine it has all the latest features. I previously had a Nexus S but this beats it by a long country mile. It is looks faster, smooth, slicker and appears to use considerably less battery when I removed a number of widgets from the home screen and customised my synchronisation times. (more…)
